[Class 48] An otterboard 1 which is higher than it is long, and is convexly curved on the side opposite to the towing cable side has on the convex side a projecting arm 3, which may be fixed or hinged, or may consist of a fixed arm to which an extension is hinged. The extension may be buoyant to cause it to assume the horizontal position when immersed. Specification 546,842 is referred to.
