554,427. Overhead runways. KING, Ltd., G. W., and KING, D. M. May 4, 1942, No.. 5992. [Class 104 (ii)] In an overhead runway for cranes &c. comprising fixed tracks 10, 11 and a fixed branch track 26, a movable switch frame 15 carrying track sections 12, 13 enables the crane- &c. to pass from one track to another, and fixed rods 16, 17 carried by the fixed frame 14 prevent movement of 15 while occupied, by engaging the crane. Rods 21 .. 24 on 15 also prevent the crane from moving on to 12 or 13 unless 15 is in correct position.
