Abstract

551,932. Hook and like supports. WHITFIELDS BEDSTEADS, Ltd., and ADAMS, E. June 17, 1942, No. 8294. [Classes 44 and 89 (ii)] Hooks, eyes or like supports are anchored to a rail such, for example, as a bed rail by a metal strip 2, which may be of various cross sections, secured at one end to a nut 4 and being apertured at 7 at the other end to engage the nut, the whole being secured by screwing in the hook &c. 1. In a modification, the nut is grooved to engage the apertured end. The device is intended more particularly for the bedsteads of hospital patients.
