[Class 37] [Also in Group XL] An adjustable Lecher conductor 1 is coupled mechanically as at 14, Fig. 4, to the movable plate of a condenser 30. Movement of conductor 1 also actuates the plate 31, Figs. 1 and 2, of a three-plate condenser whose other plates 44 are fixed upon two parallel conductors 32, 33. A condenser having shaped plates 47, of which one plate is fixed upon the movable conductor 1 while the other is carried by a rotary shaft 46, is actuated by a send-receive switch.
