[Class 103 (ii)] A pneumatic bumper for motor vehicles comprises a base bar 1 of the cross-section shown, a reinforced rubber cover 8 provided with beads 9 adapted to be received in recesses formed by the inturned edges 2 of the bar and an inflatable rubber tube 6 enclosed between the bar and the cover. A valve connection 7 for the tube is provided. Reterence has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 312,611, [Class 103 (ii)], and U.S.A. Specifications 1,881,390. and 1,885,474
