[Class 1 (i)] [Also in Group VI] A device for drawing liquid into pipettes and particularly for drawing blood into haemocytometer pipettes comprises a deformable bulb or tube e having a nozzle c adapted to fit into a rubber tube b or the like attached to the pipette a, and means for deforming the bulb. The latter may consist of a plate j which is advanced by turning screw g so as to compress the bulb against the wall of the casing f.
