[Class 9 (i)] The movable clamping-plate 13 for securing a number of shells in a cradle in an ammunition box is slidable upon a central stem comprising two strips 6, 7 and is fixed in clamping position by a screw 17 rotatable in a nut 16 trunnioned between the upper ends of the strips. To free the plate, the screw is first rotated and then tilted to the position shown in Fig. 4. A spring 21 may be disposed between a collar 22 on the central stem and the clamping-plate.
