Abstract
547,858. Medicines for animals. AMERICAN DAIRIES, Inc. March 18, 1941. No. 3681. Convention date, March 20, 1940. [Class 81 (i)]. A preparation for oral administration to ruminants, e.g. cows, for increasing milk yield and fat production consists of a pellet of dessicated thyroid which is coated with a substance insoluble in the rumen, e.g. a fat, solid alcohol, stearic acid or lacquer.
