547,730. Concentrating butadiene. STANDARD OIL DEVELOPMENT CO. Sept. 6, 1940, No. 13938. Convention date, Oct. 31, 1939. Drawings to Specification. [Class 2 (iii)] The known method of concentrating butadiene by absorption in cuprous chloride solution followed by regeneration of the absorbed butadiene is followed by a second similar absorbtion and regeneration step, in order to obtain a product of a high degree of purity. An apparatus is described in which the operations are performed.
