Abstract
547,271. Rubber hydrochloride film. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. May 15, 1941, No. 6283. Convention date, Sept. 21, 1940. [Class 70] [Also in Group VI] A film suitable for packaging cheese, lard, butter, soap and cigarettes is composed of rubber hydrochloride containing a wax in amount sufficient to render the film translucent or opaque, e.g. beeswax 20-30, Syncera wax 20-35, Cerese wax 20-40, Petrowax "A" 20-40, or " SS " amorphous wax 10-40 per cent. The film is made into a bag and hot, plastic cheese is run into it. The cheese may be cut without separating the film. An outer coating of wax-free rubber hydrochloride plasticized with butyl stearate may be applied.
