Abstract

[Class 2 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXI, V and XXXIII] Streamers for extending the effect of the ordinary balloon barrage are made from two sheets a<SP>1</SP> of a cellulosic plastic composition, such as cellulose acetate or cellulose nitrate, cemented together at the edges and having registering recesses and grooves to form gas pockets c which can be inflated by means of a nipple f. The sheets are preferably formed in moulds having cavities and grooves to receive composition in the form of a viscous liquid. The composition may also be sprayed on to rotating rollers having the cavities and grooves, the solidified material being drawn off the rollers in sheets.
