Abstract
529,032. Plastering. HUGHES, C. L. (National Gypsum Co.). March 7, 1939, No. 7366. [Class 20 (iv)] Corner beads for use in plastering and like operations, of the kind having triangular openings in the flanges, as described in Specification 333,671, [Class 20 (iv)], and U.S.A. Specification 1,257,980, have the openings 16, which may be provided in one or both flanges 13, 14 arranged in two opposed rows, as shown in Fig. 3, so that slits 17 may be cut from the apices of the inner openings, or alternate ones thereof, of one or both flanges, to facilitate bending when the bead is to be bent as shown in Fig. 1, to form a curve A.
