Abstract

527,880. Storing and displaying garments. POLLOCK, Ltd., M., and JOHNSTONE, W. April 22, 1939, No. 12157. [Classes 52 (i) and 52 (v) ] An apparatus for storing and displaying articles of apparel comprises a stand including rear and side panels 10, 11 and an overhead translucent canopy 12 beneath which is secured a rail 15 provided with runners for carrying garment hangers, the arrangement being such that garments stored near the side portions of the stand may be drawn forward round a curved front portion of the rail for display purposes. The stand may be closed in front when not in use, by curtains carried by runners mounted on a rail 22.
