Abstract

526,092. Pictures. BERNHARDT, V., and HIRSCH, G. Feb. 1, 1940, No. 1973. Drawings to Specification. [Class 11] Pictures or portraits are adhesively secured to a backing and permanent uniform convexity in all directions is then imparted to the front of the picture. The backing consists of pulp, cardboard, plastic material, or cork and its rear surface is treated with an adhesive setting solution so that with hot-pressing the convexity is rendered permanent. A transparent cellulosic sheet may be secured to the face of the picture. The convexity may extend over the whole picture or a plane margin may be left all round.
