Abstract

522,667. Curtain drawing arrangements. HUDSON, L. G., and HUDSON, Ltd., W. A. Dec. 31, 1938, No. 38002. [Class 52 (v)] The curtain runners are provided with a guide device for the draw cord the device being provided with pivoted pawls adapted to contact with a stop on the curtain rail whereby the cord is automatically gripped and released. A guide trough 2 having the curtain runners 3 for riding on the curtain rail 26 is provided with a guide 16 for the draw cord 17 and with pawls 19, 20 pivoted at 21 so as to incline to one another. On drawing the cord 17 the guide trough 2 is moved since the cord is gripped in the guide 16 by one or other of the pawls 19, 20, and continues to move until the gripping pawl is released by means of a stop adjustably secured to the rail 26. The stop comprises depending portions 32 on each side of the rail.
