[Classes 36 and 38 (i)] A system of wiring comprising sections of moulding 10 in which conductors 23, 24 are embedded, connected together by short members 11 containing conductors 17, 18 and having outlet sockets 19, 20 formed in either the long or short members, has these sockets covered with a layer of frangible or removable material 11c until required for use. The material employed for covering the sockets may also provide a finishing coating for the surface of the moulding and may consist of rubber, lacquer, varnish &c. Some of the short members 12. Fig. 2, are formed as corner pieces and some have recesses at the rear in which the conductors are exposed for connection to the mains, the recesses being then filled with plastic insulation.
