521,035. Men's collars. DOYLE, J. March 1, 1939, No. 6689. Convention date, March 1, 1938. [Class 141] A collar comprises a pair of stiffeirers, each of which has one end adapted to engage a V-shaped pocket at one end of the collar top, and the other end pivotally connected to the collar band. In the form shown, one end of the stiffener 10 is adapted to engage a pocket 3 in the collar top, and the other end is formed as a hook 11 to engage a loop 12 on the collar band. In a modification, each stiffener is of angled form, and has one end adapted to engage a horizontal pocket in the collar band.
