520,155. Hose Bridges. ROBERTS, S. F. Oct. 13, 1938, No. 29664. [Class 107] Relates to ramps for facilitating the passage of traffic over hose pipes of the kind comprising resilient pads a hingedly or flexibly connected by a strip b which, with the adjacent sides of the pads, forms an intervening space e for the hose. According to the invention, the strip b is so arranged that it forms a roof to the intervening space. The pads are formed of a canvas or leather outer cover stuffed with cork or rubber elements and stitched together by string c the ,strip b being part of the outer cover. The ramp may be readily folded about the strip b and carried by handles g.
