519,820. Travelling cases. KENNEDY, E. N. Sept. 5, 1938, No. 25881. [Class 18]' A shoe compartment in a travelling case is constituted by one or more inclined partitions 15, 19, hinged at 16 and held in inclined position by a pivoted notched arm 21 which may be of bent wire. These fastenings serve. also to keep the partition vertical when required. The partition may also lie flat on the bottom. The two inclined partitions may also be supported by engagement of a projection and notch therein. The bottom also may be hinged for access to the interior. Both 'the lid and the hinged bottom may be of the expanding type.
