[Class 131] In a hair-curling device wherein a retractable comb D is housed in the winding-member 19, a spring E bears on a thumb piece 31 having a slot 33 with lateral extensions 34, 35 co-operating with a pin 43 to permit the necessary transverse and longitudinal movements of the comb D. A removable looped wire 42 engages the tail 37 of the comb. One end of the device is provided with fixed comb teeth.
