[Class 56] [Also in Group IX] Glass filaments are aligned by a lattice device 12 formed of cross-members 14a, 14b and having depending pins 16. The device is lowered into the filament mass' and then elongated. The aligned filaments may pass through an anealing chamber 13. .Specification 477,478, [Group XII], is referred to.
