Abstract

515,382. Condensers. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and LENO, J. A. May 31, 1938, No. 16244. [Class 37] Connecting terminals for the units of a condenser are moulded into a terminal plate forming one wall of the casing and provided with internally-extending partitions forming cells by which the units are separated from each other. The casing 1 may be of metal and the partitions 5 on the terminal plate 2 may extend inwardly only a short distance as in Fig. 4, the plate 2 being held in position by bent-in lugs cut from the casing. In a modification, Fig. 5, the casing, except for the bottom, is moulded in one with the terminal plate and the partitions are larger than the condenser units 6, the ends of the cells being closed by metal caps 14.
