[Class 4] Lift-increasing devices for aircraft include a roller which may be provided with vanes, disposed forwardly of the leading edges of the wings and provided with means whereby its position may be adjusted. As . shown, the roller may be driven and the brackets carrying the roller are pivoted to the wing.
