[Class 89 (ii.)] [Also in Groups XXI and XXXVII] A bomb is supported between pivoted jaws 2, 3 held closed by a slide 9 having a pin 12 which engages in an inclined slot 13 in a second slide 14 adapted to be advanced to the left to effect release of the bomb by a piston 18 on a manually, pneumatically or electromagnetically operated rod 17. Electrical indicating means comprising red and green lamps are provided to indicate when the jaws are in the closed and open positions.
