510,028. Trawling-gear. BENN, C. L., and BENN, C. H. March 10, 1938, No. 7449. [Class 48] In hollow metal rollers for ground-ropes comprising two cup-shaped halves welded to a plain unflanged narrow ring projecting inwardly, the ring projects also externally to form a narrow tread. The ring 2 may be rectangular, square, circular, or triangular and is secured to the rims of the cups 1 by complete annular welds 3 made in the angles between the ring 2 and cup 1. The rims or edges of the cups may be chamfered to afford a better key for the welding metal.
