Abstract

507,022. Accordions. STEVENS, A. H. (Excelsior Accordions, Inc.) Jan. 18, 1938, No. 1646. Drawings to Specification. [Class 88 (ii)] In an accordion the valve and sound chamber at each end is formed with internally rounded corners connecting the flat side and end walls. The walls of each chamber may be formed of a continuous strip of wood bent to shape and secured with the ends overlapping. The bellows may have rounded corners to correspond.. In a modification, the planar side and end walls of the sound chambers are connected by corner blocks which have concaved inner surfaces and are set in rebates in the walls. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 471,290.
