[Class 20 (iii)] An end-stop or bracket a for a roof-light f is formed with a slotted end plate a<1>, the slot a2 of which receives a spindle b provided with a clip or jaw c for receiving the edge of the rooflight. The spindle may be screw-threaded and may be clamped to the end plate by nuts. By slackening the nuts, the spindle may be raised and lowered within the slot, and by displacing the nuts, the spindle can be adjusted endwise. The jaw c is rotatably mounted on the end of the spindle and is fitted with resilient packing c<1>.
