506,065. Rolls of ribbon &c. JONES, STROUD, & CO., Ltd., and JONES, W. Sept. 21, 1937, No. 25620. [Classes 18 and 94 (i)] A roll of narrow strip material such as braid or ribbon, or of cord, yarn, &c. is packed in a container made from the blank shown, apertures 5 serving for egress of the material and for rotating the roll. The flaps may be connected by adhesive, and the roll may be carried by a ferrule extending, from the front to the rear wall. The ferrule is in some cases rotatable and may carry a wood disc about which the ribbon &c. is wound. In another form a ring may rotatably embrace a central hub fixed to the walls. The container may accommodate more than one roll and these may be arranged coaxially. The windows may be covered by transparent paper and the package may be enclosed in an outer scaled covering of transparent paper which may be coloured to exclude ultra-violet rays. The container may be of triangular, polygonal, or circular shape.
