[Class 111] [Also in Group VI] Hygroscopic substances of animal origin including artificial manures are treated to render them non-hygroscopic by coating their particles with a mono- or diglyceride of a higher fatty acid. A suitable method of application is by mixing a moist product with a paste or any preparation of the glyceride and drying and powdering the mixture. A proportion of from 5 to 15 per cent of glyceride on the dry material is suitable.
