Abstract

504,033. Toy ropes. BERESFORD, W. (Warren, R.) Oct. 18, 1937, No. 28329. [Class 132 (iii)] A lariat has an eye member at one end adapted to slide tightly on an intermediate part to form a noose whereby the noose can be adjusted to any size without alteration when being spun, the rope being passed through the eye approximately at right-angles to the end attached to the eye. The rope 1 which may be relatively stiff has one end attached to a spherical eye member 3, and passes through a tightly fitting hole 2 in this member and thence through a loosely fitting swivel member 6 in the shape of a ball or hemisphere, Fig. 4, (not shown), to a stop 8 or stopper knot. The rope may be of plaited formation, Fig. 3, (not shown).
