Abstract

503,199. Electric heating of closet seats. MARKS, C. G. Sept. 30, 1937, No. 26446. [Class 39 (iii)] A closet seat B, of metal, glass, porcelain, &c. is of inverted channel'section and contains an electric heating element F. In the construction shown the element F is held in clips G carried by a base member C secured to the closet pan A. In a modification the seat B carries the clips G and the element is housed in a recess in the top of the pan A. According to the Provisional Specification the heating element may comprise a metal tube containing a wire insulated from tube by porcelain beads &c.
