[Class 14 (ii)] In making beverage powders of the lemonade type, the flavouring material is dispersed or dissolved in liquid edible lactic acid, the mass being rendered solid and suitable for com. minution by means of materials which solidify it by physical or chemical means. Sugar and like materials may be mixed into the mass preferably before solidification occurs. In examples, the solidifying materials are calcium carbonate, calcium lactate or agar-agar.
