[Class 141] Safety harness for securing a child within a perambulator comprises a waistcoat-like structure, and a separately formed waistbelt 18 carrying the safety rings 20, 21, which is suspended from the lower edge of the waistcoat by looped members 12 ... 17 to permit independent circumferential movement of the waistcoat and waistbelt. The waistcoat consists of two inelastic back pieces 1, 2, connected together by an elastic insertion 3, and two inelastic front pieces 4, 5 coupled together by an adjustable inelastic strap 10, and connected to the back pieces 1, 2, by elastic shoulder members 6, 7, and by an inelastic girth strap 8, the latter together with the shoulder members and front and back pieces forming armopenings. According to the Provisional Specification, the looped members may be adjustable to elevate or lower the position of the waistbelt.
