499,708. Directive wireless signalling. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C. May 13, 1938, No. 14362. Convention date, May 14, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] Relates to a radiogoniometer of the kind described in Specification 477,963 in which an auxiliary coil 11 is mounted at rightangles to the search coil 6 and is substituted for it, in order to give the "sense" of the bearing. According to the invention, the switches 9 and 15 which control the setting of the "sense" coil and insert it, first in phase and then in phase-opposition, are mounted on the hand wheel of the direction-finder, and may take the form of a push-button or press-ring.
