498,929. Mops. BRIGGS, EMMOTT, & CO., Ltd., BANHAM, W., and NEAL, G. B. July 23, 1937, No. 20395. [Class 19] In a mop of the kind comprising a piece of textile material, to one face of which a finger is attached and which has a drawtape round its edge by means of which it is wrapped over a metal frame, one or more layers of a non-rigid material are interposed between the front of the frame and the textile material to prevent wear. As shown, the textile material C is fitted with a patch E on which the front of the frame A rests. A length of cord or yarn may be wrapped round the front of the frame or rubber tubing may be threaded on to the frame. In another form, a square of material is wrapped round the front side of a rectangular frame.
