497,019. Stoppers. BAIRD & TATLOCK (LONDON), Ltd., and HOUGH, A. T. June 10, 1937, No. 16089. [Class 125 (iii)] Rubber &c. corks &c. for flasks, bottles, &c. having longitudinal bores 1, have each of such bores of the same diameter at the ends 3, 4 but of greater diameter either for the whole of the intervening length as shown in Fig. 2 or for parts of such length as shown in Fig. 7, in order to permit of the free passage and withdrawal of tubes &c. In place of the undulating section of Fig. 7, the bore may have a saw-tooth or crenellated form. The exterior of the cork may have a similar section. The spaces in the bore may contain luting, leak-detecting, &c. compositions.
