Abstract

In a process for cleaning metal and similar articles in an open top type of apparatus provided with a condenser in the upper part p thereof, there is used tetrachlorethylene maintained at a temperature between 70 and 90 DEG C., whereby vapour losses are reduced. The temperature is regulated preferably by a thermostat. Specification 399,717 is referred to.
