[Class 69 (iii)] A splash preventer for electric storage water heater comprises a body providing parallel channels and a central part protruding from the spout and adapted to lie on an imaginary developing cone. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, a series of vanes 5 ... 10 are secured together and to the spout 4 with the vanes protruding Fig. 4 shows a form comprising spaced cylindrical members 11 ... 14 secured together by pins 15, 16 while in Fig. 5, the body 17 is provided with passages 19 projecting into the external cone portion 18.
