Abstract

A composition for removing plasters and adhesive tape from the skin comprises a mixture of preferably pure carbon tetrachloride with not more than 40 per cent, preferably not more than 20 per cent of white oil. The mixture may contain up to 10 per cent of alcohol. The Provisional Specification describes a mixture of iodine crystals, alcohol, carbon tetrachloride, and liquid paraffin, boiled for five minutes.
