[Classes 20 (ii), 20 (iv), and 87 (i)] A concrete building-unit comprises two slab-like portions a, b reinforced with metal mesh e and joined by ribs c, d which may be reinforced. Cavities g, h are formed which may receive electric wiring, pipes, &c., access to which may be provided by suitable doors. The longitudinal edges of the unit may be bevelled.
