Abstract

491,734. Springs. LE CERF, G. March 16, 1937, No. 7703. [Class 108 (iii)] [Also in Group V] Moulds for use on shaking tables in moulding chocolate and the like are provided with sound-damping cushions or buffers 2 having antifrictional and wear-resisting tread surfaces 3 of metal. The cushions may be rubber plugs 2 inserted in the underside of the mould or in a channelled bar or triangular block secured thereto. The plugs carry buttons 3 of aluminium or other metal. Alternatively, the buffers may be formed by springs, either a bow spring 10, Fig. 9, or a spiral or blade spring. The springs may be formed with tread surfaces, such as an enlarged part 13, or may be provided with metal buttons. Specification 480,701, [Group V], is referred to.
