Abstract

491,438. Dental flasks ;electric heating. KONIGSMANN, H. April 20, 1938, No. 11864. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group XI] A dental flask comprises two rings 1, 2 having loose bottoms 5, (i containing electric heating elements 5a, 6a, and located on the rings by guides 4 projecting from the rings. Cramps 3 engage dovetail ledges 1a, 2a to clamp the rings together. The guides 4 are screwed to the ring 1 and serve to align the rings and bottoms. Plates 5b, 6b are detachably screwed to the bottoms to permit access to the heaters. In use, the bottoms 5, 6 are replaced by others during filling with wet plaster so as to prevent damage to the heaters. After heating, cooling is expedited by again removing the bottoms 5, 6.
