489,090. Winches. PALMER, E. T. March 29, 1938, No. 9579. [Class 78 (v)] The suspension cable u of a builder's cradle is passed round V-grooved pulleys h, j lying one above the other in the same plane but with the axis of the one offset laterally with respect to that of the other. The pulleys h, j are connected to worm wheels k, m, respectively, which are driven by a worm n actuated by cranks p. The cradle is attached to eyes q at the lower end of the frame b in which the pulleys are mounted.
