[Class 12 (i)] The knife edge 4 of a knife-edge bearing, or a similar prismatic body, is secured in place by wedges 6, the direction of movement of which is parallel to the axis of the knife edge. The wedges may enter separate recesses 2, or they may engage the surface of the main bore formed to receive the knife edge.
