Abstract

485,218. Dabbing-brushes for combing-machines. LORIMER, T. Feb. 6, 1937, No. 3562. [Class 120 (i)] In a combing-machine for wool a sectional dabbing-brush comprises a back portion A, Fig. 2, which may be permanently attached to the dabbing mechanism, provided with depending lugs A<1> to receive securing bolts B adapted to pass horizontally through adjacent and abutting sections. The sections S, S<1>, S<2>, Fig. 1, are reversible and are provided with a number of bolt-holes to ensure correct reversal. The section S<1> extending the whole length of the brush may be in one section or may be divided into two, while sections S, S<2> may be square. Specification 16612/05, [Class 120], is referred to.
