Abstract

484,925. Condensers. FISHER, J. H., and HUNT, Ltd., A. H. Nov. 16, 1936, Nos. 31265/36 and 19789/37. [Class 37] A condenser with sheet mica dielectric is embedded in a case of which at least the outer part is of moulded polystyrol resin. The polystyrol may be directly moulded around the condenser or, as shown in the Figure, a pre-moulded tray 15 of polystyrol has slots 16, 17 for accommodating the connecting leads 13, 14 when the condenser 11 is inserted, the embedment being effected by pouring in a suitable wax &c. A cover of polystyrol may be secured on the top of the tray by a seal of wax. Specification 417,838, [Group XXXV], is referred to.
