483,487. Variable condensers. GLEN'S PATENTS & HOLDINGS, Ltd. Oct. 19, 1936, No. 28446. Convention date, Nov. 8, 1935. [Class 37] At least one of the sets of condenser elements consists of plates of metal-covered vibration absorbent material such as rubber. The stator plates 26 are supported on strut members 27 held to the frame members 14, 15 by screws 29 which pass through soft insulating bushings 30 and through pads 28 of soft rubber. Where the rotor plates are those made of metal-coated rubber, the stator plates may be of soft aluminium.
