477,287. Grinding. GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION. June 22, 1936, No. 17287. Convention date, June 27, 1935. [Class 60] [Also in Group V] The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises grinding apparatus for formed ceramic bodies such as spark-plug insulators 34 and includes a grinding wheel 30 with a shaped periphery 32. The insulator 34 is mounted on a spindle 36. A felt driving wheel 46 is mounted on a pivoted frame 40 adjustable to and from the wheel 30 and is rotated preferably in a direction opposite to that of the grinding wheel. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
