[Class 70] [Also in Group IX] A mat comprises strips of rubber 1, having pointed projections at their upper edges, alternating with plain strips 2 of less depth, clamped on pairs of rods 4 connected to the sides of a frame 5, the length of the rubber strips being such that a space 6 is left between the strips on one pair of rods and those on the adjacent pairs. The strips may be made from old tyre tubes or from new rubber, and may be differently coloured to form a pattern.
