[Class 139] A movement case 1, 2 of celluloid or like unbreakable material, for insertion in an outer watch case, and in which the rims 5, 6 of the two halves fit one within the other, and one half 1 has a part 4 constituting the watch crystal, is characterized in that after moulding sheets of celluloid or like unbreakable material to form the two halves 1, 2 with substantially uniform wall thickness, the crystal forming part 4 is left at this full thickness whilst the wall thickness of portions of the blanks (surfaces 6 and 7) which contact with the outer watch case is reduced by a suitable cutting operation, e.g. milling.
